Corner of North Street & Columbus Ave, Pittsfield
Take a stand against violence in our community!
Sign up to Walk a Mile.
Interested in walking?
Everyone is welcome! And registration is easy.
- If you’d prefer to download a registration form, click here. (Note: because the form folds in half width-wise, half of the outside page will look upside down when you print it).
Registration is free, but almost all walkers raise funds to support our work. 100% of the money raised goes to helping survivors of violence in Berkshire County. Raise $55 or more and get an awesome Walk a Mile t-shirt!
(Shoes and signs available at the Walk. Come early to get the best shoes!)
Interested in sponsoring someone walking in the March?
- Can’t find the page of the person you want to sponsor? You can also make a secure credit card donation to Elizabeth Freeman Center’s Walk a Mile by clicking the Make a Donation button below. Choose “Don’t have a PayPal account” to donate by credit card, and don’t forget to tell us the name of the person you’re sponsoring. Thank you!

Why we march.
Together we are making a difference!
Violence affects us all…our neighborhoods, our schools, our health system, our businesses, our children, our future. Come add your voice (and your feet) to those calling for change.
Calling all artists! 2015 Walk a Mile Art Show
Held in conjunction with the March and organized in collaboration with the Pittsfield Office of Cultural Development, the Walk a Mile Art Show presents artists and community members with an opportunity to create wearable art for a great cause.
Shoes will be displayed in the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts September 14th-18th, then auctioned off to support Elizabeth Freeman Center. 100% of the money raised goes to helping survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Berkshire County.
Click here to download the flyer or registration form, or call the Pittsfield Office of Cultural Development at (413) 499-9348 for more information.
